Do you Hear what I Hear?
Lots of Noise or Nothing at All? The Cry of a Newborn King or the Wail of Woe is Me?
It really depends doesn’t it? At this busy time of year, I crave silence, stillness and time for reflection and repose; time to really let the meaning of Jesus coming to us as a baby, a little precious one sink in, way in.
A new tradition for me has been to attend “The Story” for the past two years. It is a combination of music, video and live performance that shares some of the major stories in the Bible through song. Amazing and inspiring and yet so many still don’t know a thing about it.. Adam and Eve, Moses, David, Joshua, Ruth and Naomi, Abraham, Esther, Job, Mary, Jesus, Paul, The Disciples, The Thief on the Cross; their stories encourage us and remind us that God wants to be a part of our story always. We just have to be still and listen while he writes on our hearts, and hear what He wants us to hear…
